NY Surfers Paddle to Support Dean Randazzo

Two New York Surfers now living in Hawaii will participate in the “The 7-Mile Miracle Paddle: A Paddle to Support Dean Randazzo!” On Sunday May 18th, Ed DeLamarter will be joined by Mike Lutwin and friends in Hawaii, and will paddle from Velzyland to Alii Beach Park (aka “The 7-Mile Miracle”), in support of New Jersey surf legend and pro surfer, Dean Randazzo.  Click here for more information on how you can help by making a one dollar minimum donation, to the Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation.

New York State Parks Police say: SURFING IS A CRIME

Proposed Manmade Island May Alter New York and New Jersey Oceanic Ecosystems

FREE THE MONTAUK 8!, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 30 AT 8 P.M

On Friday, November 30 at 8:00 p.m, RED ROCK RETURN, NANCY ATLAS and THE BASTARDS OF BOOM join forces at The Stephen Talkhouse, 161 Main Street, Amagansett, to FREE THE MONTAUK 8.  Admission is $15 and the proceeds from this great night of music will be earmarked for use in the Surfrider Foundation, Eastern Long Island Chapter’s court battle to defend eight surfers who were ticketed for surfing at Montauk Point State Park.

LBHS Surf Club Industry Night - 12/12/07

The Long Beach High School Surf Club is hosting an Industry Night on December 12th at Long Beach High School in Rm 257 from 7 - 10pm. THIS EVENT IS OPEN ONLY TO MEMBERS OF LONG ISLAND HIGH SCHOOL SURF CLUBS (school age groms), NOT THE GENERAL PUBLIC.  The club just launched a new website with news and information about this event and many others that they are hosting.
